American Creek wedding lodge

American Creek Lodge has run as a wedding venue and nothing else for six years. The owners are retiring and offering it whole, as a going concern, including the separate owner and caretaker residence on the property.

It sits on 25 acres of mixed woodland six kilometres from Hope, on the western edge of the Coastal Mountains, with views over the Fraser Canyon — close enough to Highway 1 that the Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver markets reach it easily.

The property is let as one package with exclusivity. Weekend rentals run 2pm Friday to 2pm Sunday; midweek rentals 10am Tuesday to 2pm Wednesday. Couples bring their own vendors — caterer, officiant, bar. Ceremonies happen on the decks, receptions in the event space and across the grounds. The owners stay available during a rental but are not on site unless wanted.

The lodge sleeps up to 14 and the event space seats a maximum of 120. Beside it are a heated washroom facility, three patio areas including one under a 20 by 40 canopy, and a covered catering area with its own access. A whisky and cocktail bar sits next to the ceremony decks. The owners live in a purpose-built cabin on its own ground, separate from the business.

The diary is full and books eighteen months ahead. Payments are spread across the year to keep cash flow regular, and at any given moment there is typically more than $300,000 of confirmed, deposit-paid bookings on the books.

The season currently runs mid-April to early November, which leaves the rest of the year unsold. The owners also cap midweek events, and the listing says the demand for more is already there. Beyond that: bringing services in house for complete event packages, and building additional accommodation on the 25 acres.

All equipment and inventory are included, and the social accounts, enquiry routing and advertising presence on the wedding platforms transfer with it.
