The assessment, the snapshot and the workspace are free. Using them creates no engagement, no exclusivity, no obligation.
We can only be paid under a written engagement agreement you have read and signed. No signature, no fee, no matter how much of the product you use.
Your snapshot is general information built from your answers. Not a valuation, not legal or tax advice, not a recommendation to sell. The disclosures page draws those lines.
Decisions stay yours. Talk to your own accountant or lawyer first; we will tell you the same.
A success fee, payable at closing. No retainers, nothing up front, no fee if it does not sell.
The engagement agreement governs that relationship and states exactly what triggers the fee. Take it to your own lawyer before signing. We would rather you did.
Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if someone else may have access. The tools are only as good as what you enter.
Only upload what you are entitled to share. Records of a co-owned company are a question to settle before uploading.
What you upload and write stays yours. We store and process it only to serve you, and that permission ends when you delete it.
The site, its text, its design and its tools are ours. Your snapshot and documents are yours to keep, print and share.
No breaking the law, no impersonation, no harmful uploads, no reaching for other people's workspaces, no scraping, no building a competitor with it. We may suspend an account that does, and we will say why.
Not a sale, not a price, not a buyer. Nobody honestly can. Timeframes on this site are typical ranges, not commitments.
Nor uninterrupted uptime. We aim to keep the site running and your data safe, and we tell you when something that affects you goes wrong.
Leave any time, delete everything, no reasons needed. If we ever close an account, we explain why and let you export first, unless the law prevents us.
Your agreement under these terms is with InvestDeal Technology Inc., a British Columbia company. "We" and "us" on this page mean that company.
The laws of British Columbia, and the laws of Canada that apply there. This service is offered to businesses in Canada.
Changes appear here with a new date at the top. Material ones go to account holders by email, not quiet edits.
